Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Kota Kinabalu

Arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy free time to relax or explore the waterfront and local surroundings. Overnight: Kota Kinabalu.

Day 2 – Island Hopping at Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park

After breakfast, transfer to the jetty for a boat excursion to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Visit selected islands such as Manukan and Sapi, enjoying beautiful beaches, swimming and optional snorkelling. Return to Kota Kinabalu in the afternoon. Overnight: Kota Kinabalu.

Day 3 – Kota Kinabalu to Kundasang – Mount Kinabalu Scenic Journey

After breakfast, depart for Kundasang through the beautiful countryside of Sabah. Enjoy scenic mountain views along the way. Visit Kinabalu Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable biodiversity and spectacular mountain scenery and enjoy the cool highland atmosphere. Check in to your hotel in Kundasang. Overnight: Kundasang.

Day 4 – Kundasang Highland Discovery

After breakfast, explore the attractions of Kundasang. Visit Desa Dairy Farm, famous for its green pastures and beautiful Mount Kinabalu backdrop. Continue to Kundasang War Memorial and enjoy the scenic highland viewpoints. Return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening. Overnight: Kundasang.

Day 5 – Kundasang to Kota Kinabalu Airport – Flight to Sandakan

After breakfast, transfer to Kota Kinabalu Airport for your domestic flight to Sandakan. On arrival, meet your local driver and transfer to your hotel near Sepilok. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Sandakan / Sepilok.

Day 6 – Sepilok Orangutan Centre & Sun Bear Conservation Centre – Kinabatangan

After breakfast, visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to learn about orangutan rehabilitation and conservation. Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, dedicated to protecting the world's smallest bear. Later, proceed to your riverside lodge in the Kinabatangan area. Check in and enjoy the natural surroundings. Overnight: Kinabatangan River lodge.

Day 7 – Kinabatangan River Wildlife Safari

Experience the natural beauty of the Kinabatangan River. Enjoy scheduled morning and afternoon river cruises with a local nature guide. Look out for proboscis monkeys, macaques, hornbills and other wildlife. Spend the evening at the lodge surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest. Overnight: Kinabatangan River lodge.

Day 8 – Kinabatangan to Sandakan Airport – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Sandakan Airport for your onward flight, taking home wonderful memories of Sabah's islands, highlands and wildlife. End of tour.
